More trails are coming to Crook County and the Ochoco National Forest! The Ochoco National Forest is currently scoping to change the Bandit Springs winter trails to four season non-motorized trails and add several miles of new trail in the Dry Creek area.
Bandit Springs trail system would add approximately 10 miles of multi-use summer trails with convenient access off Highway 26 near Ochoco Divide. Additionally this trailhead will provide another jumping-off point for longer rides on Cougar Creek and Scotty Creek trails.
The Dry Creek trail additions will create needed connections and more loop opportunities for equestrians from Dry Creek Horse Camp.
